Christmas 2007

Another year, another Christmas....time flies by so quickly. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were in Maryland--spending Christmastime there, eating lots of good food, celebrating Yeh Yeh's 60th birthday, taking a tour of the pediatric ER at Shady Grove, etc....ah, the memories.

This year, we spent the holidays in sunny Miami. We missed all the family but we were lucky to have Ba Ngoai and Cau Jr come for a visit. Below are a few pictures of Samantha pre-Christmas (like Samantha with her friend, Catnap). Then we have some pictures from Christmas day--opening lots of gifts!

Snow in Miami!

You may or may not have heard about this in the news, but on December 9th, there was snow sighted in Miami Beach. Excited to have Samantha experience snow for the first time, we took her to the scene: The Miami Children's Museum.

At the bottom there's another couple videos of Samantha decorating our pint-size Christmas tree, and playing with her lego animals. Enjoy!









You may remember that Samantha has been to this museum before...it was just several months ago and look how she compares to Shaq now!















This one is longer, didn't edit it as much. She is creating a little parade of her Lego animals that Xiao Nia Nia gave her for her birthday.

Orlando Magic....

Taking advantage of our proximity to Orlando, we spent our Thanksgiving holiday with Shamu and Mickey Mouse. "Orlando Magic" isn't just a name for a basketball team....we found out how magical Orlando can be and we had a blast! Here are some pictures from our adventures at the Magic Kingdom and at SeaWorld.

Happy Halloween! Here is our little cheerleader with her new friend, Cady (daughter of one of the UMiami chief residents). After having pizza at our favorite spot--Andiamo's!--we all went trick-or-treating; good thing Tropical Storm Noel behaved that night!
